Dream - April 10, 2013
I held my son in my arms. He was older - around 10 or 12 years old. He sat in my lap and his legs dangled to the side while his head rested on my shoulder. He was sleeping. Nothing startled him or woke him up. People spoke to me but that didn't wake him. I carried him into a pub or tavern looking room. We sat at a round table while others sat in tables across from us. The room was lit but dark. I looked up and saw that the ceiling was draped in light bulbs. There must have been over a thousand light bulbs. I said, "someone turn the lights on."
No one moved to do anything. I looked around to see that the plug to the light bulb was not plugged in to the outlet. I asked again, "Someone turn the lights on." No one moved.
I then woke up.
Follow Up:
After praying through about this dream, I realized the Lord was showing me that my son was sleeping spiritually. The lights were there - all he needed to do was ask the Lord to turn them on. He needed to invite the Holy Spirit into his life and awaken his soul - to set him on fire - to revive him.
I shared that with my son and I will continue to pray God lights a fire beneath him and baptizes him with the Holy Spirit.
